Sunset over St Topez. The staging, orb, lights and other paraphernalia on the right hand quay were for Magic Johnson’s 25th Wedding Anniversary. He kept us entertained all night!
We dedicated the this day to exploring more of St Tropez. Partly to see the town and also to watch the spectacle that was being built in the harbour wall. Magic Johnson and his wife Cookie were celebrating their 25th Wedding Anniversary. They had started in Monaco but were descending on St Tropez; they had built a 'Cirque du Soleil' style stage/frame for the floorshow, and lined the wall with bars, seating areas and so on.
We had grandstand views of the set up but unfortunately when the entourage arrived in their massive motor yachts all we could see was the side of the boats and the 40' tenders running around to collect guests. Oh, and the fireworks.
