Members have enjoyed following the news from Harry Budden in Canada of A38, The Beaver, over the years. In 2019 he sent news and pictures of his journey across Canada from North Bay Ontario to Saltspring island, British Columbia . A five day 4000km journey.
Now we have had the exciting news that he has given The Beaver to his granddaughter. Gabby wrote to us with this news and sent the attached photographs. And doesn’t the boat look smart. She is one of only two we know of still in use with the very short blister. The galley and chart area is smaller than on most Atalantas and the aft cabin noticeably longer.
And I think that Gabby is now, by some margin, the youngest owner of an Atalanta for a long time!
