Open invitation to a land based event with Mike and Sheila Dixon in Market Harborough.

This will be a very informal get together (think hot weather – shorts and T shirt; cold weather – shorts, T shirt and a fleece). You get the idea I’m sure.
– for members to talk about boats
– a chance for those who might be interested to view the ongoing restoration of A1 “Atalanta” (about two miles from Mike and Sheila’s)
– a chance (if anyone’s truly desperate!) to have a look at a canal narrow boat
– food (a substantial cold buffet – not a BBQ) and drinks (hot and cold [alcoholic and not])
– a couple of laptops ready for people to show their pictures by plugging in their memory sticks

Other possibilities are negotiable – auction anybody? – anybody willing to speak on a particular topic (like the Hereford Forums)? – anything else?
