Following on from the Uffa Fox 2022 event in Cowes it is planned to have an AOA Cruise in Company on the South Coast. This will be a flexible event, tailored by the participants. It is intended to sail from 21 August 2022 – 26 August 2022, and we might visit some of: Newtown, Yarmouth, Keyhaven, Lymington, Buckler’s Hard, Hamble, and as much of Chichester Harbour as the time, tides and weather allows, including Dell Quay, Birdham Pool & Itchenor.

We plan to sail as a fleet and stay overnight in company, where possible. In particular it is intended to have a photo shot at MDL Hamble, our birthplace, and for some boats, this will be the first time they have returned there since leaving the Fairey sheds in 1955-1960.
Two boat owners have already confirmed interest: Mike Dixon – A1 Atalanta & Richard James – A89 Colchide.

We also hope to see many of the South Coast based boats and maybe some from further afield?
