Back to the water

I am really glad that I managed to find ‘hibernation’ for Mary over the lock-down.

But it is time to get her back in the water enjoy a sail and make sure things are running properly.

So with the excuse of the West Mersey regatta she is going back into the water.

She went in on Friday and short of a cubic inch of water that seeped in around the heads outlet seacock there was no water ingress.

The batteries are flat so I need to charge them before I can start the engine.  But I also need to change the oil, anode and filters etc so that is a job for next week.

  1. Good to see ‘Mary again!
Looking forward to catching up at West Mersea on Friday.
Better polish that bottom for the race!
    Cheers
