Greg Manning has sent a report on A142 at Portsoy, with this photo

A142 Sugar Plum attended the Scottish Traditional Boat festival on June 23/24th.  Having craned in and fitted out at Whitehills 7 miles east of Portsoy we motored round on the evening of the 22nd in a choppy sea and uncomfortable swell.  Saturday the 23rd was marred by rain with very few of the public attending.  The forecast for the afternoon of the 24th was for MW’ly 4-5 occasionally 6 which would make the entry back into Whitehills a problem.  As Sugar Plum was in the old drying harbour we left on the morning tide at 0400 to get safely back to Whitehills before the wind increased.

There was a mention of the boat on BBC Radio Scotland but by an ill informed presenter who had not spoken to us.  The description was that we looked like a “submarine with a mast”!
