Harrier takes up her new mooring on the River Tamar

This year we finally made it back onto the water.

A berth on the Tamar became available in early August. This was followed by a rush to finish a few jobs on Harrier and the rest fell into place.

It is wonderful to be on the water again and the family are enjoying BBQs and cups of tea aboard of an evening.

Harrier is in great condition and seems very well suited to the mud berth.

Good luck to those mid restoration. It is worth it!

Fantastic to see Harrier afloat, and even more so to see the crew getting stuck in!
It is a beautiful river, notwithstanding the growth and development Greg refers to.
Hope the weather holds for you to get some more great days on her this year!
    Cheers
    Nick

  2. Brings back memories.. 1969 I used to have a 14 foot dingy at Tamerton Foliot. Sailing up to Morwelham before it was “found” and made into a visitors centre some years later
