Bernard Upton is looking to design and manufacture a new autopilot system for A89.
He is talking about a wind vane on a vertical rod, connected to the rudder and locked in position by perhaps a disc brake system from a modern road or mountain bike.
Does anyone have any comments on his plan please?
Does anyone have any better suggestions for an autopilot for a 93 year old solo sailor please?
