In the October 2020 edition of Yachting Monthly there is an article by Brian Black about his sailing career entitled “A Life Well Sailed”. He sadly died in August. He is probably best known for his recent arctic voyages in production boats. The article mentions that “Back in the day we had a 26ft Fairy Atalanta …” and includes a picture of his young family in the cockpit. This was his first yacht.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.  A very sad accident.  The Yachting Monthly website has an online article with some details. From the Registers Brian owned A78 Marianda in 1975.
