It is that time of year that I need to go through my accounts and chase the cockroaches out.

I am not an accountant and am not giving or inviting tax or financial advice.  Do you own #$^* research etc..

But I have discovered this and consider it of interest to some of us.  RYA membership is considered an Approved Organisation. Meaning;

• annual subscriptions you pay to approved professional bodies or learned societies, if being a member of that body or society is relevant to your job

Being skipper of Atalanta Mary appears on my linked in profile, So I believe that counts.

Now I only need to figure out how to word the TV licence as duplicate taxation….
