Maree Ellis is selling the boat which her father Jack Ellis built from Atalanta plans, using edge glued strips of Iroko and Burma Teak instead of the hot-moulding technique used by Fairey Marine. The boat’s name is “Ahamkara” and she appears to be in good condition on a lock up mooring in Benfleet, Essex. She is not on the AOA register, neither has Jack ever been a member, although some might consider he deserves to be! In any case, his boat is now included with our Boats for Sale.
