To assess member interest and availability for a possible AOA event at Rye (see previous discussion for location details etc), it would be helpful to hear from members who may be interested and also to gauge any preferences for dates or type of event. John Ingleby suggests possibly July for a boat meet, as this may be of interest to members heading for other south coast events at Fal week (10 – 18 Aug) and W Mersea (24 Aug). Alternatively a laying up luncheon in late Oct or early Nov at a suitable Rye Hostelry. Any interested members are invited to submit their feedback on any of the above suggestions.
