Under “EVENTS” a notice of a South East “Laying Up Luncheon” was posted some time ago, further comments have been posted, but as there has not been any interest the event will not be taking place.

The newsletter has stated that the South East laying up Luncheon will take place at Erith Yacht Club and Doggetts on Sunday 13th November.  It had been cancelled at EYC because the club could not provide a meal.  The Doggetts option was cancelled because members had not responded in time to organise it.  However I am organising a gathering of members at EYC on Sunday 13th November and asking those who attend to bring their own food, accomodation and drinks will be available at the club and already several members will be arriving at 1200hrs.  Give me a call if you wish to attend and I can give you directions.  The post code is DA7 2AD.
