Hi,

 

I am thinking of trailing Gambol to somewhere in France (Le Havre to Cherbourg area) at the end of next week,

However, I have been so busy trying to get her ready that I have not given much / any thought about a location to launch and one to leave her for a couple of months (preferably afloat and one that won’t break the bank).

Not having been to this area before or indeed taken her on a ferry any thoughts on location / ferry route & line would be really appreciated.

Saint-Valery-sur-Somme is €135 a week but I can vouch for the facilities and the town. http://www.portsaintvalery.com 0033322602480 telephone numbers include country codes Plus you have the sailing options of the estuary and the somme itself I believe you need the cervini but I doubt anybody will check.
