Triggered by the Pixie for sale on the site the question has arisen:
Do Pixies make good tenders for the Atalanta?
Apparently they row very well in flat water. But can they cope with a bit of swell or worse a windy anchorage chop?
Interestingly the Pixie for sale has a deck over most of the forward section.
Has anyone got experience of using a Pixie as a tender? Does the join between the two halves give strength or water-tightness issues?
